At Greene River Consulting, our team brings together nonprofit leaders, financial experts, and problem solvers who know what it takes to keep mission-driven organizations running strong. We’ve each been in your shoes, and we’re united by the belief that nonprofits can do their best work when they have the right funding and financial foundation.
Ara G. Beal – she/her
Ara is passionate about the arts, pluralism, and nature. Some of her favorite past projects have included helping develop plans for inner cities playground renovations to mitigate climate impacts, securing funding for a new arts center, and managing grants to support kids in detention playing team sports.

Helen Robertson – they/them
Helen is passionate about supporting nonprofits of all sizes, especially those engaged in social justice work at any scale. Some of their favorite past projects include securing funding for a youth environmental justice and civic engagement program, helping a small nonprofit develop cohesive program descriptions, and working with executive directors to engage board members in institutional giving programs.

Andrew Beal – he/him
Andrew is a dad, to a 10-year-old daughter, with broad experience at diverse institutions. He’s always worked in the non-profit sector, and has never strayed far from culture, arts, and education. He believes those areas have the power to connect us with others, and to spark and reveal the humanity within. Favorite past projects include managing recovery of flooded basement, being part of the opening of a brand new history museum, and creating a pop-up performance space in an abandoned restaurant.

Amy Boblitt – she/her
Amy is passionate about supporting organizations that provide opportunities for kids. She enjoys volunteering in organizations from arts through athletics. She prefers working behind the scenes. One of her favorite past projects was working to plan 5 events in a 20 minute meeting.

Natalie Tenner – she/her
Natalie is passionate about storytelling, helping people find their creativity, and the Oxford comma. Some of her favorite past projects include taking plays from the development stage through to production and convincing young people and college students that, yes, they do have a creative voice and can use it!

Kirsten Bean – she/her
Kirsten is passionate about good food, classical music, and immigrant rights. She has worked for local government in public health and higher education for over 20 years. Some of her favorite past projects include starting a syringe exchange program and designing a grant application to fund 3D metal printing curriculum at a local community college.
FAVORITE ACTIVITIES ...
When she is not researching and writing grants, or raising her two teenage kiddos, Kirsten can be found in the kitchen, making pickled beets, among other things.
